Hello! I am am an associate professor at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA where I hold appointments in health studies and athletic training. I also am an adjunct lecturer in the Master of Public Health and Physician Assistant Studies programs at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. My main areas of scholarship are in gender-based health disparities, chiefly male health, however, I also have interests in substance abuse, behavioral sciences, and celiac disease. In addition to this book I also have authored chapters in several other texts (see my "other works"). I also have a couple of books in development, so stay tuned! I enjoy teaching and researching in health education because I know it makes an impact in people's lives. In my "spare" time I enjoy fitness and sports, particularly weight training, running, and competitive softball. I live in Dedham, MA.
