I have been an educator since 2001 serving in several diverse capacities. I was the undergraduate program director and clinical education coordinator for the athletic training program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. My clinical work (athletic training) encompassed many levels of competition including high school, clinic/outreach, per diem, and professionally (New England Patriots Football in the NFL). I presently teach in the public health and school health tracks at Bridgewater State University and maintain a busy research agenda. I also have adjunct teaching roles at Northeastern University in the Physician Assistant Studies Program and Master of Public Health Program in Urban Health. Last, I am an author/writer and offer consulting services in the health, medical, and fitness industry.
